Field Of Beans is a cooperatively run regenerative horticulture project spanning one acre in Blaenffos, Pembrokeshire. The project focuses on producing fresh organic produce for participants, their families, with excess being donated to community projects and food banks.

Always growing
Since its creation, Field of Beans has blossomed into a thriving space for education, sustainability and community connection. In addition to annual open days the garden now offers a variety of enriching activities and courses that has included beekeeping, mushroom growing, hedge laying, crop planning, and ecosystem to name just a few.
Bean Sprouts (Family Gardening Sessions) and the Ffynnon.
Demetae Project (Youth Support) both having regular slots.
Educational gardening sessions provide hands-on learning experiences for the community of all ages and skill levels.
Through Ffynnon’s Working With Schools initiative local schools have also embraced Field of Beans as an inspiring outdoor classroom, using it to enrich education with hands-on learning.
Field of Beans has become a safe, welcoming space filled with fresh air and opportunities, offering healthy physical activities to keep people fit, new friends and community connection, it provides essential skills, knowledge and fresh organic grown food—everything needed for a healthy lifestyle!

Field of beans is not open to the public, you will need to ‘join the field’ officialy, take the first steps by simply getting in touch.
