Ffynnon launched the #EatFromWales campaign in 2024 to raise awareness about the importance of supporting local farmers and businesses, reducing food miles and enhancing food security.
The #EatFromWales Week is an annual celebration of Welsh produce at harvest time. This event gives participants the chance to showcase Welsh food and drink on social media, promoting and celebrating local and Welsh produce.

#EatFromWales: The Ffynnon Food Map
As an extension of our #EatFromWales campaign, we launched the Ffynnon Food Map —a growing directory of local food and drink producers across Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Carmarthenshire. From vegetable growers and meat farmers to artisan suppliers of prepared or preserved goods, the map connects local businesses directly with both retailers and consumers.
The aim of the Ffynnon Food Map is simple: to promote healthy, locally grown and produced food in West Wales. By making it easier to find and support nearby producers, we’re helping to reduce food miles, encourage sustainable sourcing and support local business.

Producers listed in our directory can showcase their products, services, special offers, and promotions—putting themselves quite literally on the map. We actively promote all listed businesses not just through the directory, but also via our website, social media, newsletters, community noticeboards, at our events and even through paid advertising!—all completely free.
