Ffynnon & Tempo Time Credits
Ffynnon is now part of a national network of organisations using Tempo Time Credits to recognise and reward people for the time they give to their communities.
We’re really pleased to be part of such a fantastic initiative and to be one of the first organisations in the area to offer Time Credits. We’re also looking forward to accepting Time Credits at Ffynnon soon.
How does it work?
As a Ffynnon volunteer, you’ll be invited to sign up to Tempo, you don’t need your own email address to take part and people of all ages are welcome.
This is completely optional (you can still volunteer with Ffynnon without signing up if you wish!)
Once signed up, your shifts volunteering will need to be recorded , so we can credit your Tempo account, these credits are then yours to use on opportunities offered by participating organisations locally and all across the UK.
Earning Time Credits
At Ffynnon, we award:
- 1 credit for at least 1 hour of morning volunteering. (AM)
- 1 credit for at least 1 hour of afternoon volunteering. (PM)
Tempo limits the number of credits that can be earned to 5 per week, averaged over a month. This means you can earn around 20 credits per month through Ffynnon, that’s enough to open up lots of opportunities locally and across the UK.
Also once registered with Tempo, you can earn Time Credits through other organisations to, not just Ffynnon!
Using Time Credits
There are opportunities to use Time Credits all over the UK, with more being added all the time. You can use your time credits wherever participating organisations accept them, these can be found on the Tempo website.
Please note: Each organisation decides how and when they accept Time Credits, so opportunities are subject to their own arrangements, availability and circumstances.
Local and national organisations accepting Tempo Time Credits can be explored using the button below.
If you’re already volunteering with Ffynnon and would like to earn Tempo Time Credits, please let us know and we’ll send you a personal invitation to start receiving credits from us.
